Today, we honor and remember Allison Wildman, a vibrant 30-year-old woman whose life was tragically cut short on September 11, 2001. Allison, a stockbroker at Carr Futures, was working on the 92nd floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center when the hijacked planes struck. Her story of love, passion for life, and devotion to her family remains etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

    What Happened

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Allison Wildman was at her desk at Carr Futures, just like every other day. Shortly after the North Tower was hit by one of the hijacked planes, she called her mother, June Wildman. In the phone call, she told her family that the tower had been hit, that she had lost her purse and cell phone, and that the office was filling with smoke. She asked her mother to tell her father to come and get her. Tragically, that was the last conversation they had, as the tower collapsed shortly after.

    Who Was Allison Wildman?

Allison Wildman was born in the Colonia section of Woodbridge and raised in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater, New Jersey. She was the youngest of four children born to Arthur and June Wildman. A 1993 graduate of Rider University, Allison worked for Bloomberg Financial Services and Fuji Bank before joining Carr Futures. She was a dedicated and hard-working professional who loved her job, never missing a day of work.

Allison was also known for her vibrant personality. She was witty, full of life, and loved animals, especially her family’s pet dogs, Molly and Shannon. She had a deep love for horses and began riding lessons at the age of 7. She was an avid fan of the Jersey Shore, enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, and had a passion for playing golf with her father. Her family was everything to her, and she stayed closely connected, calling her parents five or six times a day.

    Background or Timeline

Allison’s tragic story unfolded on September 11, 2001, as she was on the 92nd floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. When the first plane hit, she remained calm and called her mother to report the situation. Despite the panic around her, Allison’s voice remained steady, expressing concern for her safety and her family’s, but it was her final phone call. In a cruel twist, the building collapsed before she could be rescued.

Allison’s death left a hole in her family’s heart that can never be filled. Her love for life, her family, and her work made her an unforgettable presence. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three brothers, Arthur, Robert, and Richard, her sister, Jill Saladino, and her grandmother, Beatrice Wildman.

    Public or Social Media Reaction

Allison’s loss was deeply felt not only by her family but by the broader community. Her story continues to inspire many who remember her for her kindness, her dedication, and her vibrant spirit. The story of a woman who loved her work, family, and life so much resonates in the hearts of all those who have been affected by the tragedy of 9/11. She is remembered by her friends, colleagues, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Official Statement or What Happens Next

A memorial Mass will be held in honor of Allison Wildman on October 6 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allison Marie Wildman Foundation, an initiative that continues to honor her memory and her love for helping others.

As we remember the victims of 9/11, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of those who have lost loved ones. Allison Wildman’s life, although tragically short, leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and an unwavering spirit that continues to inspire.
