Amaya Espinal has officially announced her separation from Bryan Arenales on Instagram. The couple, who were winners of Love Island USA Season 7, decided to part ways after realizing they had different paths following their time in the villa.
In her message to fans on August 27, Amaya expressed, “After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align. Relationships are supposed to be a team sport.” She added, “All love here and I truly wish him the best.”
Just hours later, Bryan also shared his thoughts, confirming the split and suggesting they were “not on the same page.” He expressed gratitude for their time together and wished Amaya well in the future.
Rumors of their breakup had circulated days before when fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Amaya’s TikTok activity indicated her feelings about the split, with posts reflecting disappointment.
In a short TikTok comment, Amaya implied that Bryan had gone out shortly after their breakup, stating it was painful to see him “doing the exact things you told him hurt your feelings.” She also shared videos that criticized Bryan’s behavior following their split.
During a reunion special for Love Island, both Amaya and Bryan addressed rumors surrounding their relationship, particularly allegations of infidelity. Bryan explained that a viral video of him with other women was misinterpreted, saying he was at a work event and acknowledged a “lapse in judgment.”
