Anne Marie Pappalardo Missing – The Mansfield, Connecticut community is deeply concerned as authorities continue an extensive search for 61-year-old Anne Marie Pappalardo, who has been reported missing since Sunday, October 26, 2025. Her disappearance has prompted a large-scale search operation focused in and around the Natchaug State Forest, a vast and wooded area spanning parts of Eastford, Chaplin, and Hampton.

According to reports, Anne Marie Pappalardo was last seen on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Mansfield, Connecticut. Her maroon Honda Civic was discovered parked near the entrance of Natchaug State Forest, prompting authorities to launch a coordinated search effort.

Pappalardo is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black jacket, black vest, black leggings, and brown boots.

The Connecticut State Police (CSP) and Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police (ENCON) are leading the search, joined by local fire departments, volunteer search teams, and trained K9 units. The operation has expanded across multiple zones within the Natchaug State Forest, which spans over 13,000 acres of rugged terrain and thick woodlands.

Authorities have urged the public to stay clear of the active search zones to prevent interference with ongoing K9 tracking efforts. The presence of additional people in the area could disrupt scent trails, making it harder for search dogs to locate any clues related to Pappalardo’s movements.

In addition to ground crews, drones, thermal imaging equipment, and air support are being used to scan the dense forest canopy and isolated paths. Search and rescue teams are working long hours, hoping to locate Pappalardo safely.

Local residents and volunteers have expressed deep concern for Anne Marie’s wellbeing, describing her as a kind and active member of the Mansfield community. As the search extends into its fifth day, the Connecticut State Police continue to encourage anyone who may have seen Anne Marie or has information regarding her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the Connecticut State Police – Troop C (Tolland) at 860-896-3200 or dial 911. Even small details—such as spotting her vehicle earlier in the week or seeing someone matching her description in the area—could prove crucial to the investigation.

The community remains hopeful that Anne Marie Pappalardo will be found safe and reunited with her loved ones. Search efforts are expected to continue until further notice.
