The Colorado Parents Advocacy Network has started a new petition that calls on the state’s district attorneys to urge the governor to call an emergency special session to amend or repeal those laws. Investigators quickly ruled the cause of a house fire in Aurora to be accidental, but now five people, four dogs, and a turtle have been displaced from their home. The fire was called in around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday near East 7th Avenue and North Norfolk Way, according to Aurora Fire Rescue. A U.S. company that makes health care products is recalling four over-the-counter skin cleansers and an anti-itch lotion it says could lead to “serious and life-threatening infections.” New Jersey-based DermaRite Industries announced on Friday that it was voluntarily recalling the health care products due to the fact that they may cause a microbial contamination known as Burkholderia cepecia, which may result in adverse reactions, particularly in immunocompromised individuals.
