A father and son were shot in Northeast Philadelphia’s Holmesburg neighborhood Sunday night, police said. The shooting happened on the 4700 block of Vista Street at around 6:30 p.m. The two were bystanders, according to police. The son was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and the father was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Police said they were both placed in stable condition. A police officer was allegedly hit in the back of the head with a chair while arresting two people at a Domino’s Pizza in Glassboro, New Jersey, police said.
