The University of Pennsylvania is investigating a vulgar email that was sent to members of its campus community. Penn told CBS News Philadelphia that it was not hacked, but the university is working to find the source of the fraudulent email. The email’s subject line read “We Got Hacked” and included explicit language while urging recipients to “stop giving money” to the university. The email used Penn’s Graduate School of Education’s letterhead and appeared to criticize the Ivy League school’s admissions and hiring practices. University officials said they are continuing to investigate the source of the email.

Three teenagers are dead and another was injured after a serious crash in Warrington Township, Pennsylvania, on Friday night, police say. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Bristol Road, where a sedan and an SUV collided near Barness Park, police said. Police say the sedan had four teenagers inside, and the SUV had one occupant, the driver. Three of the four teens inside the sedan were killed, including the 15-year-old driver. Nine members of the Pagans Outlaw Motorcycle Gang have been arrested in connection with a shooting involving a rival biker gang at a Wawa in Montgomery County, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office announced Friday. A father and son were shot in Northeast Philadelphia’s Holmesburg neighborhood Sunday night, police said. The shooting happened on the 4700 block of Vista Street at around 6:30 p.m. The two were bystanders, according to police. The son was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and the father was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Police said they were both placed in stable condition. The shooting is under investigation.
A police officer was allegedly hit in the back of the head with a chair while arresting two people at a Domino’s Pizza in Glassboro, New Jersey, police said. Police said officers responded to a fight at Domino’s at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday for a large fight inside the store. A grim scene unfolded around 4:17 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2 in Shreveport, La., when what was initially believed to be a traffic accident turned out to be a deadly shooting. Responding officers from the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) arrived at the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway and discovered a man and a woman inside a vehicle who had both been shot. Inside the vehicle with them was a young child, who thankfully was found unharmed.
