PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Pensacola woman has been arrested after allegedly urinating on several items in two separate Airbnb rentals, causing significant damage to the properties. Nicolette Keough, 31, faces felony charges of criminal mischief after a local Airbnb owner filed a complaint on March 15, claiming that Keough had caused over $3,000 in damages.

According to the Pensacola Police Department (PPD), the owner discovered videos of a woman—later identified as Keough—urinating in the property, which had been uploaded to an adult content website. The owner also reported a strong smell of urine in the home following Keough’s stay. Authorities revealed that Keough had urinated in a second Airbnb property owned by the same person, located on the same street.

Among the damaged items listed in the police report were an antique Crown Royal chair, a rug, a typewriter, four dining room chairs, a coffee maker, a bed, a TV, a record player, a toaster, and an electric fireplace. Police confirmed that the total damages exceeded $3,000, prompting the felony charge.

Keough was arrested after police approached her and investigated the incident. According to the police report, Keough allegedly uploaded the videos of the acts in an attempt to profit from them. She has since been released on bond.

In response to the incident, Airbnb condemned the behavior, stating that such actions “have no place on Airbnb.” The company confirmed that Keough has been removed from the platform and stated that the host is receiving assistance through Airbnb’s AirCover damage protection for reimbursement.

Airbnb also emphasized that property damage incidents during stays are rare, and that their hosts are backed by 24/7 support and damage protection for every reservation. It is currently unclear if Keough has legal representation at this time.

The case remains under investigation as the Airbnb host continues to seek compensation for the damages caused.
