INDIANAPOLIS – A shooting in Indianapolis early Sunday morning has left two people dead and five others injured, police say.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at a parking lot on Shore Terrace around 2 a.m. after reports of gunfire. They found five people with gunshot wounds. Sadly, two were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to a police statement.
Police also reported that two additional individuals believed to be victims of the same shooting sought help independently. One arrived at a hospital, and the other went to a nearby fire station.
