An Iowa man is in trouble with the law after a terrible crime. Luke Truesdell was found guilty of killing four people.

The court decided that Truesdell was responsible for three counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder.

Back in June 2024, Truesdell used a metal pipe to hurt four people so badly that they died. The people who died were Romondus Lamar Cooper, Keonna Victoria Ryan, Amanda Sue Parker, and Brett Anthony Brown.

The place where this happened was a garage in Marion, Iowa.

Police said that Truesdell might have done this because he thought it could be made into a movie.

The police also said that all four people were hit very hard. Brown was alive when he was taken to the hospital, but he died later. The other three people were already dead when the police got there.

Truesdell told the police that he thought the people he attacked were involved in bad activities. He also said he had used drugs and had not slept for a long time.

Because of what he did, Truesdell will spend a long time in jail. The court will decide exactly how long on February 27, 2026.
