The State Department has taken action against several foreign citizens who celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative figure.
Officials confirmed that visas were revoked for six individuals who made hateful comments regarding Kirk’s death. The State Department emphasized that the United States does not have to welcome those who wish harm to Americans.
Among those who lost their visas were citizens of Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, and Paraguay. Their comments ranged from criticizing Kirk’s views to outright celebrating his death.
Vice President JD Vance and other officials are encouraging people to report offensive comments about Kirk online. They stress that those who promote hatred and violence are not welcome in the United States. The State Department has made it clear that it will act to protect American citizens from foreigners who threaten them.
