Megan Thee Stallion Takes on Spicy Ramen in New Series “KPOPPED”

In a new competition series, “KPOPPED,” Megan Thee Stallion faced off against some serious spice while eating Buldak ramen noodles with members of the K-pop group Billlie. Despite the heat, the popular rapper pushed through and enjoyed the experience.

Filmed in Seoul, the series starts with Megan visiting a vibrant snack store with Billlie members Sheon, Siyoon, and Moon Sua. She was instantly attracted to the colorful display of Samyang Buldak ramen packets, noting how the shop felt like a futuristic convenience store. Megan remarked, “This is a good idea for my kitchen, actually. I’mma do my kitchen like this.”

When asked about her preferred spice level, Megan enthusiastically replied, “Real hot. I want to be a dragon!” The group settled on the Hot Chicken flavor, but it didn’t take long for the experience to hit her hard.

Once the noodles were ready, Megan took the first bite, and though the initial taste was bearable, the heat quickly intensified. She was soon seen grimacing and needed a moment to recover from the burn. “Yes, and it just kicked in!” she exclaimed to the group.

In a reflective moment, Megan realized that while she tackled the spicy noodles head-on, her companions had refrained from trying them. “They set me up,” she said, noting with a grin how the Billlie members laughed and dubbed her experience “savage.”

“KPOPPED,” which premiered on August 29, features eight 30-minute episodes where Western music artists remix their hits into K-pop styles with support from K-pop stars. Unique in its approach, Megan, who also serves as an executive producer alongside PSY, is excited about the show’s potential, declaring, “This has never been done before.”

Fans can catch all episodes of “KPOPPED,” hosted by comedian Soojeong Son, on Apple TV+.
