Federal Agents Release Video in Minneapolis Shooting Case

Minneapolis, MN – Federal authorities have released a video showing events leading up to a shooting during an immigration enforcement action in Minneapolis. The incident has raised questions about the safety and conduct of law enforcement officers during these operations.

The Department of Homeland Security posted the video, which shows a woman, Renee Good, in a red SUV blocking a street. According to reports, Good was repeatedly honking her horn.

The video shows officers approaching Good’s vehicle. After a brief period, a dark truck with flashing lights pulled up near Good’s SUV. Two officers exited the truck and walked towards Good’s car just before the video cuts off.

Additional videos from bystanders show one officer asking Good to exit the car while another attempts to open the door. As Good reverses, the officer filming is positioned in front of the vehicle. Good turns the steering wheel, and a woman shouts, “drive, baby, drive!” Gunshots are heard.

Following the shooting, Good’s SUV crashed into a parked car. The incident remains under investigation. The release of the video is intended to provide more transparency regarding the actions of federal agents in the performance of their duties.
