Prince Andrew Spotted at Sandringham Amid Ongoing Scrutiny

After weeks away from the public eye, Prince Andrew, 66, was seen on March 21 walking his dogs at Sandringham Estate trade envoy and his connections to financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew spent approximately 11 hours in custody at Aylsham Police Station, Norfolk, earlier this year but was released under investigation. The brief public outing signals a rare moment of visibility for the former royal.

    A History of Controversy

Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 following a BBC interview addressing his friendship with Epstein, who died by suicide while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.

He was also linked to Virginia Giuffre, who alleged sexual abuse by Andrew as a teenager; Giuffre died by suicide in 2025.

Legal proceedings intensified over the years. In January 2022, Queen Elizabeth stripped Andrew of military titles and patronages after a judge rejected his effort to dismiss Giuffre’s lawsuit. He later settled the case out of court.

Following Giuffre’s posthumous memoir in 2025, Andrew relinquished his remaining royal titles and honors, which King Charles formally removed.

    Family Life and Privacy

Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, 66, has largely stayed out of public view since December 2025, reportedly spending time at wellness centers in Switzerland and Ireland.

Their daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, pursue private careers and maintain homes in London. Family friends say the sisters are keen to retain their royal status despite the controversies surrounding their parents.

The public fascination with Andrew stems from the intersection of family, law, and legacy. His sporadic appearances, coupled with enduring scrutiny, reflect how private actions can reverberate through public life — especially when they involve the royal family.

For the wider public, these moments underscore the human side of high-profile scandal: families navigating legacy, privacy, and the weight of public perception.
