    Rodgers Returns: Steelers-Bills Clash

The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to receive a significant boost as quarterback Aaron Rodgers is scheduled to return to the starting lineup for their upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills. The game is scheduled for Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.

Rodgers, who is 41 years old, was absent from the team’s previous game against the Chicago Bears due to a wrist injury on his non-throwing arm. Despite his eagerness to play, the team decided to hold him back to ensure his full recovery.

According to Head Coach Mike Tomlin, Rodgers has fully participated in practice and will not have any injury-related limitations for the game against the Bills.

Rodgers sustained the injury during the Steelers’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals. In Rodgers’ absence, Mason Rudolph stepped in, starting against the Bears.

During the game against the Bears, Rudolph completed 24 of 31 passes, achieving 171 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Rodgers’ return is particularly timely for the Steelers. Following the Baltimore Ravens’ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving, the Steelers have an opportunity to improve their standing in the AFC North division. Currently, the Steelers hold a 6-5 record, and a victory over the Bills would position them at the top of their division.

Winning the division is the Steelers’ most probable path to the playoffs. A win against the Bills would significantly enhance their chances of securing a playoff spot.

In his debut season with the Steelers, Rodgers has demonstrated strong performance. The seasoned quarterback has completed 66.4% of his passes, accumulating 1,969 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Coach Tomlin has also confirmed that wide receiver DK Metcalf, who has been managing an ankle injury, is expected to participate in the game.
