Savannah Chrisley has opened up about her complicated relationship with her brother, Chase Chrisley, revealing they haven’t spoken in quite some time. Despite the tension, Savannah emphasized that she loves Chase but also needs to prioritize her own well-being.

In a recent interview on “Nightline,” alongside their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, Savannah, 28, acknowledged the distance, stating she couldn’t recall when they last communicated. The siblings have had difficulties during their parents’ recent legal troubles, which led to Todd and Julie serving nearly 19 years in prison after being convicted of serious financial crimes, though their sentences were recently reduced.

Addressing their strained connection during the premiere of their new reality series, “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality,” Savannah expressed frustration over Chase not stepping up to help during their parents’ absence. She claimed he didn’t take on any responsibilities despite being given chances to do so.

Chase, however, seemed to view things differently, suggesting that Savannah wanted assistance only on her terms. He commented that Savannah prefers to say she’s accomplished tasks independently.

Savannah also indicated a belief that their brief interactions often feel forced and motivated by hidden agendas. She admitted there’s resentment in their relationship, questioning if it could ever truly heal.

Chase, meanwhile, expressed his desire to mend things, stating he loves Savannah but feels she often doesn’t reciprocate that affection. He suggested that open discussion about their issues could help clear the air.

As tensions within the family persist, fans remain hopeful for reconciliation as new episodes of “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” continue to air on Lifetime.
