George was driving his 2013 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Southern Boulevard when his vehicle failed to halt at a red traffic signal. At the same time, a 2026 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck was executing a lawful left turn westbound through the intersection under a green light.
When the Nissan struck the semi-truck’s trailer, the force was devastating: investigators report the car rotated and in fact became briefly attached to the trailer. George, sadly, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, identified as 23-year-old Williamson Saint-Hillaire of Lantana, escaped without physical injury.
