A shooting at a bar in South Carolina has left four people dead and many others hurt.
On Sunday, October 12th, around 1 a.m., police were called to Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island after reports of gunshots.
The sheriff’s office said that there were a lot of people at the bar when the shooting started. People ran to nearby places to get away from the gunfire.
When police arrived, they found many people with gunshot wounds. Four people died at the scene, and at least 20 others were injured. Some of the injured were taken to the hospital in very bad condition.
The police are still trying to find out who was involved in the shooting. They are getting help from other police groups, fire departments, and ambulance services.
The sheriff’s office said it was a sad and difficult situation for everyone and asked for people to be patient while they investigate.
