A rural Tennessee community is grappling with shock as 28‑year‐old Austin Robert Drummond is set to make his first appearance in the afternoon in the circuit court of Lake County, Tennessee, accused of the July 29 killings of four family members and the kidnapping of an infant.
On November 10, a grand jury indicted Drummond on charges of first‑degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in connection with the shootings. He will now appear for his arraignment after previously pleading not guilty in a lower court where a judge found sufficient evidence for the case to proceed.
