Tragic Shooting Claims Life of 13-Year-Old in Los Angeles
A 13-year-old boy named Saith Mendez lost his life after being shot outside a gas station in Pico Rivera, Los Angeles, on August 23. Reports indicate he was waiting for his mother, who was working inside the station, when the incident occurred shortly before midnight.
Authorities say that a man in his 20s approached Mendez and shot him without any prior argument or attempted robbery. The young boy was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
