ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An 18-year-old who was injured in a Rock Hill shooting has been charged for his involvement in the incident, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Gregory Watts, 18, was one of four people injured during a shooting on Saturday, Feb. 15, at a social gathering at a Rock Hill apartment complex.
Officials say Watts shot a 27-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
Watts, along with two others, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He’s being treated for his injuries while being guarded by police officers.
Watts was denied bond on Tuesday and will be formally incarcerated once he is released from treatment. He was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence.
Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing.
