Sadly, Mason Santiago of New Lenox, Illinois, died in an accident on Interstate 80. Mason was involved in a collision on Interstate 80 in the south suburbs early on Sunday morning. Two persons lost their lives in the accident. There was an accident on I-80 westbound in Tinley Park, between La Grange Road and Harlem Avenue, just before 4:30 a.m.
The deceased victims have been unofficially identified as Tyler Koscinski and Mason Santiago. Mason played football at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, Illinois.
The victims were pronounced dead after they succumbed to their injuries sustained in the crash.
