Ciera Breland Missing: Last week, Xavier Breland was found guilty of a different crime by a Hamilton County jury. During the trial, a woman from Carmel says he made death threats against her. A new charge of intimidating is being brought against Xavier Breland, who is still the only person being looked at in connection with the missing of his wife Ciera Breland from Carmel more than two years ago. A Hamilton County jury found Xavier guilty on June 11 of illegally having a handgun by a major violent criminal. During the trial, Xavier threatened the life of a woman from Carmel. She was last seen in Johns Creek, GA, on February 24, 2022. Xavier, her husband, took her to see family.
On February 26, 2022, he said she wasn’t at their home in Carmel. Carmel cops, on the other hand, think she never got back from Georgia. During their investigation, they found three guns in their home. Xavier was found guilty last week because of this. He is now in the Hamilton County Jail until July 18, when he will be sentenced. Blaire Duncan was a lawyer for Ciera and her family and went to the hearing. She said Xavier had threatened her on the day he was found guilty. Duncan said that Xavier also saw the picture of a child on her phone’s lock screen and said, “Cute kid,” which was not a compliment.
Court papers show that security cameras at the courthouse caught the event on film. Xavier is now being charged with intimidating, and his first court date is July 10. But in the end, Duncan wants justice for Ciera, whose body has never been found. When Ciera went missing, Duncan became interested in the case. Duncan had been in a situation where the other person hurt her feelings. She also knew Xavier from a man whose profile she had seen on a dating app, even though he was married. She told the Carmel police about it, they looked into it, and she got to know and love Ciera’s family.
Duncan goes to all of Xavier’s court cases in Indiana on behalf of Ciera’s family, who lives in Georgia. Xavier is thought to have killed Ciera, and Duncan thinks her body is in Georgia or somewhere on the way from Georgia to Indiana.
