Sadly, Alanna Maida, a respected teacher at Framingham, Massachusetts’ Potter Road Elementary School, has gone away. Her pupils, coworkers, and the community at large will always carry her memories with them.
The Framingham and Dedham areas have been deeply affected by her untimely death, since she was not just an educator but also a mentor, friend, and inspiration to many.
As soon as Alanna walked into the classroom, her enthusiasm for teaching was immediately apparent. Children felt supported and inspired to reach their full potential in her friendly, inviting atmosphere.

Alanna was well-known at Potter Road Elementary for her capacity to establish a personal connection with each and every one of her kids. She made sure that each person had the opportunity to achieve by taking the time to understand their unique requirements and learning preferences.
She placed equal emphasis on promoting social and emotional development as well as academic achievement. She had a profound effect on many pupils, who attribute her inspiration to pursuing their aspirations, by helping them develop resilience and confidence.
