On Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his residence, Ethan Lee Skinner, 28, of Indianapolis, IN, previously of Evansville, IN, departed from this life.
Curtis and Karen Skinner welcomed Ethan into the world on June 18, 1996, in Henderson, KY. He was an enthusiast for snowboarding, hiking, camping, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and rock climbing. He treasured every moment spent with his friends and family and sincerely loved them. He was a talented trumpet player, guitarist, pianist, and singer. He led others in worship and exuded delight as he used his gifts to honor the Lord.
After graduating from Evansville North High School in 2015, Ethan was an enthusiastic part of the North Green Brigade. In 2018, he completed his studies at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He was starting a career as a State Farm agent after completing the license requirements.
Along with his parents, Curtis and Karen Skinner; his devoted wife Riley (Hanagan) Skinner, sister Dylan Wathen (Ryan); grandparents, John, Lynn, Mary, and Theodore “Teddy” Skinner; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Tiffini Hanagan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, Ethan leaves behind a large extended family.
Ronnie Stengell, his grandfather, aunt Lori Orange Wilson, and cousin Drew Sims all passed away before Ethan.
Monday, September 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Road, Evansville, IN 47725, will host services. There will be a burial at Park Lawn Cemetery.
On Monday, September 30, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of service, friends are welcome to drop by Christian Fellowship Church.
