Wanda Davis,Amber Bazan Obituary, Death; – Two women who lost their lives last week in Tacoma’s maritime district succumbed to gunshot wounds, as reported by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office. Wanda Davis, aged 56, and Amber Bazan, aged 43, both suffered fatal gunshot injuries to the head on February 20, near the 1200 block of St. Paul Avenue, according to a news release from the office.
Their deaths have been classified as homicides. The release did not provide information regarding Bazan’s place of origin. Tacoma firefighters were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. after the women were discovered unresponsive in a vehicle, as previously reported by The News Tribune. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed the women’s deaths and notified the police. As of Wednesday, no arrests have been made, according to a spokesperson for the Tacoma Police Department.
