Cincinnati Man Faces Heartbreak After Car Theft
In a troubling incident in Cincinnati, a man found himself in a difficult situation when his car was stolen, which contained his late wife’s ashes and his beloved dog, Dobby.
James Lamb had briefly stepped into a store to make change for a hotel room when he realized his car was missing. He shared his story with local news, expressing his deep sorrow over the loss. Lamb, who often sleeps in his car, explained that he had nothing left except for his children and the memories of his wife, Amy, who passed away in 2022 from a heart attack.
Despite the painful situation, there was a glimmer of hope. A local animal shelter soon discovered Dobby, who had been abandoned and tied to a pole. Thankfully, the shelter took care of Dobby and was able to reunite him with Lamb. His friend, Chassidy Calvert, started a GoFundMe campaign to help James and provide support for his family after the recent theft.
Lamb expressed his relief upon finding Dobby, saying, “Other than my kids, he’s the most important thing I have. It was the last thing I got from my wife before she passed.”
While his car, and the ashes, have yet to be recovered, the community hopes for a resolution and encourages anyone with information to come forward
