Today, we honor the memory of Joseph Della Pietra, who tragically lost his life on September 11, 2001. A beloved son, brother, and friend, Joseph’s life was full of promise, joy, and love, and his loss is still deeply felt by those who knew him.

    A Tribute to a Life Well-Lived

Joseph Della Pietra was a young man full of life, a standout in both academics and sports. As captain of his high school football team and a graduate of Columbia University, Joseph worked tirelessly to build a successful career. He rose through the ranks to work on the Cantor Fitzgerald government bond desk, where he was respected by colleagues and admired for his dedication.

He also had a deep sense of family, living with his mother to help her pay the rent in the house where they had spent 34 years. Joseph’s life was a testament to hard work, close family bonds, and the importance of enjoying life to the fullest.

“Joseph was a real good kid,” said his brother-in-law, John L. Ubaldo. “He worked hard, had fun, and thoroughly enjoyed life. He was full of life, and there was never a bad word to say about him.”

    A Family’s Heartbreak

Joseph’s family remains deeply affected by his passing. His sister, Lisa, struggles with each passing day without him, and his loss is felt in every corner of their lives. “We miss him so much, and we will never, ever stop loving him,” Ubaldo shared. “It gets tougher and tougher to handle each day.”

The bond between Joseph and his family was unmatched, and his memory continues to serve as a reminder of the importance of family, love, and living life fully.

    Closing Line:
Joseph Della Pietra will always be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege to know him.
