The Robertson family of “Duck Dynasty” is back, and they’re keeping their faith and family values front and center, even after the passing of their beloved patriarch, Phil Robertson.
As “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” gears up for its second season, the Robertsons are making sure to honor Phil, who passed away earlier this year. For Willie Robertson, the timing feels like a blessing.
Willie shared that while they miss Phil, they believe he was ready to move on to the next life, something he talked about often. He believes Phil would be happy they’re continuing the show, especially since faith and family are still a big part of it.
The new season isn’t just about ducks and laughs; it’s about bringing wholesome family entertainment back to TV. Willie hopes the show will remind people of the importance of family and faith, something he believes the country needs right now.
“We think it’s important for the country to see a healthy family and to see joy in the things that come out of our family,” Willie said.
The Robertsons have always put faith first, followed by family and then ducks. Willie explained that keeping faith as the top priority helps keep their family strong.
Even with their busy lives, the Robertsons have held on to their Louisiana roots and family dinners. Korie Robertson, Willie’s wife, emphasizes the importance of those family dinners and the prayers they share, stating that it is just what they do and that it has helped them remain grounded.
“Duck Dynasty: The Revival” is currently filming its second season, with a premiere date to be announced soon. Season 1 is available on Hulu.
