Bailie French Obituary, Death; – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who lost her life in a crash in Fresno County on Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), they received a report on February 2 at approximately 8:40 a.m. concerning an “overdue party” who had not returned home as anticipated after midnight.
Officers reported that around 11:45 a.m. that same day, they were informed that a seven-year-old child had been found on the right shoulder of westbound Highway 168, east of Qualls Prather Road.
CHP, in conjunction with Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies, responded to the scene and discovered a Subaru that had veered off the road and rolled over multiple times down an embankment. The driver of the vehicle was located outside and was pronounced deceased. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased woman as Bailie French, 30, from Yokuts Valley.
Furthermore, the CHP indicated that the seven-year-old had spent nearly 12 hours at the crash site before he managed to reach the roadway in search of assistance. He was subsequently transported to Valley Children’s Hospital with moderate to severe injuries and was later reunited with his father.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
