Jen Shah, who used to be on the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” is getting out of prison sooner than expected.

She’s now set to be released on December 10. This is good news for Shah, who has been in prison since February 2023 for her part in a telemarketing scheme.

Her manager, Chris Giovanni, said everyone is happy about this, especially because Shah will be able to spend the holidays with her family. He said Shah is in a good place mentally and has been thinking a lot about her actions. She’s not the same person she was before and is focused on her family and living a healthier life.

Officials from the prison wouldn’t say much, but they did say they don’t share details about prisoners for privacy and safety reasons.

Shah, who is 52, has been at a prison in Texas that also houses other well-known inmates. She went to prison after admitting she was part of a fraud that hurt many people.

Shah has been trying to make things right. She said she was sorry for her actions and is working to pay back the money she owes.

Her prison sentence has been reduced several times because of her good behavior and her participation in prison programs. She has also started paying back the money she owes to the people she hurt.

It’s not clear where Shah will go when she gets out. She might go home or to a halfway house to finish her sentence under supervision.

Her husband, Sharrieff, has been supporting her during this time. They celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary in August.

While in prison, Shah wrote a letter about how hard it was to be away from her family. She said her faith and therapy have helped her get through it. She’s thankful for her family and faith and is hoping for a second chance.
