A 13-year-old girl in England was arrested because police think she might have killed a 55-year-old woman.
The woman, Sarah Forrester, was found dead at her home in Swindon. Swindon is a town about an hour away from London.
Police went to Forrester’s house after someone reported a problem. When they got there, around 7 p.m. on a Friday, they found Forrester not breathing. Sadly, she was already dead. No one else was hurt.
The 13-year-old girl was arrested and questioned by the police. On Sunday, she was allowed to go home, but the police are still investigating.
Because she is so young, the girl’s name has not been released. The police have not said how the girl and Forrester knew each other, or how Forrester died.
Forrester was a mother of two and worked as a counselor at The Kelly Foundation, which helps people with their mental health.
The Kelly Foundation said on Facebook that everyone there was very sad about Forrester’s death. They said she cared a lot about her work and her two children.
Someone who lived near Forrester, a 15-year-old boy named Jayden, told the BBC that she was a kind person who always thought of others before herself. She had lived in the neighborhood for seven years.
