Jenny McCarthy is counting her blessings this year, especially her health, after facing some tough medical challenges in 2025.
The actress revealed she’s been dealing with a series of health problems, including dental issues, multiple surgeries, and growths on her eyes.
“My teeth were falling out, implants falling out,” McCarthy told People magazine, describing the start of her ordeal. Doctors discovered a deep bone infection that required a year of antibiotics and a soft-food diet.
McCarthy underwent nine surgeries this year related to her mouth. These problems stemmed from a ceramic dental implant.
“As of now, I’m able to chew again,” McCarthy stated. “But every time we thought it had cleared up, it came back again, I’d be in massive pain with my jaw swelling up, and at the same time I was getting these growths popping up on my eyeballs.”
Despite these difficulties, McCarthy is thankful to be on the mend and looked forward to enjoying solid food this Thanksgiving.
She planned to spend the holiday with her husband, Donnie Wahlberg. They’ve both been busy with work – McCarthy with “The Masked Singer” and Wahlberg with “Boston Blue” – making their time together even more precious.
McCarthy and Wahlberg have been married for 11 years. Wahlberg previously shared that they prioritize their relationship by attending therapy together. He believes it helps them navigate the unique challenges that come with intimate relationships, especially as they both have experienced divorce in the past.
The couple started dating in 2013 and married in 2014. They each have children from previous marriages.
