Alaska Airlines Resumes Flights After Computer Problems

SEATTLE – Alaska Airlines is back to flying its planes after a computer problem caused them to stop all flights for several hours.

The airline said that the computer issue led to 229 flights being canceled. They expect some more flights to be delayed as they work to get planes and crews back where they need to be.

Alaska Airlines is trying to help travelers who were affected by the delays get to where they are going.

Passengers are asked to check if their flight is on time before going to the airport.

The grounding affected flights for both Alaska Air and Horizon Air.

Hawaiian Airlines, which was bought by Alaska Air Group last year, said that its flights were still flying as planned.

In July, Alaska Airlines had to stop all flights for about three hours because a key piece of computer equipment broke down at a data center.

Computer issues have caused problems for flights in the past, but usually, the delays don’t last very long.
