Alexander Sheppard Obituary, Death – The individual who lost his life following a car accident at a laundromat in Statesville on Thursday morning has been named. A representative from the city of Statesville confirmed that the deceased was identified as Alexander Sheppard, a 30-year-old resident of Statesville.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. on March 6 at C&H Laundry, located on Shelton Avenue near Old Charlotte Road. City officials reported that Sheppard was pronounced dead at the scene, and fortunately, no injuries were reported among those inside the establishment.
Video footage provided by Iredell Auto Repair, situated just moments away from the laundromat, captured first responders arriving as dark smoke began to drift downwind. Shelton Road was closed to traffic as emergency personnel requested that the public avoid the area while they managed the situation.
