Brandon Weeks Death, Obituary, Rock Island, IL – The community of Rock Island is in mourning following the unexpected death of Brandon J. Weeks, a 38-year-old resident who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, November 7, 2024. His death, attributed to natural causes, has left family, friends, and the local community in shock, as they come to terms with the loss of a beloved father, partner, and artist. Brandon was born on January 4, 1986, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Charles “David” Howe and Pamela Weeks.
He spent most of his life in the area, where he became known for his creative talent and his ability to bring beauty into the world through his artwork. Brandon’s artistic abilities were widely admired, with his work reflecting his deep passion and unique perspective on life. Though he was known for his creativity, Brandon’s greatest pride and joy were his family. He was a devoted father to his son, Kallen, with his long-time partner Taegan Kallenbach. The bond between Brandon and Kallen was especially close, with Brandon constantly expressing how much he treasured his role as a father.
Friends and family have described Brandon as a loving, caring individual who put his family first and always sought to create a positive, supportive environment for those he loved. A service to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, located at 701 12th Street in Moline. A visitation for family and friends will be held the evening prior, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Following the service, Brandon will be laid to rest at Rock Island Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a fund that will be established for his son, Kallen.
