Christopher Bonilla Sr Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the individual who was fatally shot outside a gentlemen’s club in Lansing.
According to Lansing police, Christopher Bonilla, Sr., aged 45, sustained multiple gunshot wounds outside Centerfolds on Pennsylvania Avenue following a dispute in the early hours of February 16.
Efforts to save Bonilla’s life were initiated by Lansing police, and he was subsequently transported to Sparrow Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, as reported by law enforcement.
Adrian Wilkerson, 36, from Lansing, has been charged with open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, felony firearm possession, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited individual.
Additionally, he faces charges as a fourth-time habitual offender. Wilkerson has a history of three prior felony convictions, which include two concealed weapon charges from 2007 and 2008, as well as a conviction for witness retaliation in 2018.
Lansing police have extended their condolences to the family of Bonilla. Wilkerson is currently being held without bond. A probable cause conference is set for 8 a.m. on February 25, followed by a preliminary examination at 8:30 a.m. on March 6.
