Derrond Tyree Vaughan Obituary, Death;- A 30-year-old man has lost his life following a vehicle accident in which his car collided with multiple trees, resulting in the vehicle overturning and coming to rest on its roof in Brunswick County early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:44 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, Virginia State Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Old Stage Road, located north of Aurelia Place, to investigate a single-vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered a 2018 Infiniti overturned with the driver unresponsive. Preliminary investigations by state police revealed that the driver, identified as Derrond Tyree Vaughan, was heading south on Old Stage Road when he veered across the centerline, left the roadway, and struck several trees.
