LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — First responders for Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS are now better equipped to handle hazmat situations.
The department’s fire and EMS hazmat team completed a 50-hour hazmat technician course this weekend. The training course is held twice a year and is open to other departments around the area.
21 participants took part in the course, including people from MSD and Louisville Metro Department of Health and Wellness.
