The letter solicited funds for a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) fundraising dinner featuring President Obama and Hakeem Jeffries. It included contact information for Epstein to RSVP for the dinner and “get an opportunity to get to know Hakeem better.”
The Oversight Committee, under Comer’s leadership, is pursuing investigations into Epstein’s network. Subpoenas have been issued to JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, and the attorney general for the U.S. Virgin Islands, seeking information about their relationships with Epstein.
