Josie is currently laying in state at her home at 8 Futter Street, Foxton, where friends and loved ones are welcome to visit and pay their final respects. This time is for those who were fortunate enough to know Josie to come together, share memories, and honor her life. Josie’s family has expressed their gratitude for the love and support they have received from the community during this difficult time.
A celebration of Josie’s life will take place on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Foxton Beach Bowling Club. This gathering will be an opportunity to remember the wonderful moments we shared with Josie, to reflect on the impact she had on our lives, and to honor her contributions to the community and the sport of bowling. Following the service, Josie will be laid to rest at the Foxton Lawn Cemetery. It will be a day to say goodbye, but also to celebrate the incredible person Josie was and the many lives she enriched during her time with us.
