It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Thresher, a respected community leader, loving husband, father, and friend, who passed away on September 22, 2024, in Ohio at the age of 65. Mark’s life touched many through his professional achievements, compassionate spirit, and unwavering commitment to his family and community.
Born on April 15, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, Mark’s journey was defined by hard work, integrity, and a passion for helping others. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in finance, launching a successful career in business and finance.
Throughout his professional life, Mark held numerous leadership roles, making a lasting impact on the organizations he served. His colleagues and friends remember him for his visionary leadership, generosity, and dedication to mentoring others.
Mark’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda, with whom he shared more than 40 years of marriage. Together, they raised two children, Sarah and David, and shared countless memories, family traditions, and travels.
Mark took immense pride in his children’s accomplishments and was always a source of strength, encouragement, and love. His presence brought warmth and laughter to family gatherings, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones.
Beyond work and family, Mark was known for his commitment to his community. He was active in numerous charities and volunteer initiatives, particularly those focused on youth and education. His kindness and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Thresher; his children, Sarah (Michael) and David Thresher; his grandchildren, whom he adored; and extended family, friends, and colleagues who will miss him dearly. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and integrity will live on in the lives he touched.
