Masoud Esmailpour Obituary, Death;- A man who lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Carmichael has been named.
Masoud Esmailpour, 37, a resident of Carmichael, succumbed to injuries sustained when he reportedly disregarded a red light at approximately 3:30 p.m. while operating a sedan westbound on Madison Avenue, leading to a collision with a van, as reported by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The van, which was being driven by an individual in his 20s, was heading north on Manzanita Avenue when it struck the left side of Esmailpour’s sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Esmailpour sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the driver of the van was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, as stated by the CHP.
