A lucky lottery player in Nelson County has a windfall coming after buying a ticket for Saturday’s Powerball.
The winning ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at the Walmart located at 3795 East Rowan Blvd. in Bardstown.
The winning ticket matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. Saturday night’s winning Powerball numbers were: 6 – 7 – 25 – 46 – 57 Powerball 12.
Kentucky Lottery officials advise all players to always sign the back of the tickets and keep them in a secure location. Prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the date of the drawing.
Prizes can be claimed at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners should contact the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to make an appointment to claim their prize.
The next Powerball jackpot drawing happens at 11 p.m. Monday, March 24. The estimated top prize is $461 million.
