Ryan Bair, a long-time and respected coed soccer referee from York, Pennsylvania, has passed away after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. His sudden diagnosis in June led to an intense medical journey, including surgery and ongoing treatments, but despite his strength and determination, Ryan’s battle ended peacefully. He leaves behind a significant legacy of service, dedication, and passion for the local soccer community.

    A Life Dedicated to Soccer

Ryan was a beloved member of the Harrisburg Area Women’s Soccer League (HAWSL) and was admired by players, coaches, and fellow referees alike. His professionalism, positive attitude, and unwavering support for the sport made him an integral part of countless games. Ryan’s presence on the field was always valued, and his contributions to the league will be deeply missed by all involved. More than just a referee, Ryan was a friend, bringing a sense of camaraderie and joy to every match he officiated.

    A Devoted Family Man

Outside of his work as a referee, Ryan was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife, Tesha, and their children, who are now facing not only the emotional toll of their loss but also the financial burden of medical bills and funeral expenses. Ryan’s family was his greatest priority, and his passing leaves a profound void in their lives.

    Supporting the Bair Family

In the wake of Ryan’s passing, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help alleviate some of the financial burdens on his family, with proceeds going towards medical bills and college funds for his children. The generosity and support from the community have been a great comfort to the Bair family during this difficult time.

    A Lasting Legacy

Ryan Bair will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to the soccer community, and the immense love he gave to his family. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, both on and off the field.

Rest in peace, Ryan. Your contributions to the game and the lives you touched will never be forgotten.
