It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sean McQueen of Davenport, Iowa, Sean, the Sales Director at Mississippi River Distilling Company, was a beloved colleague, mentor, and friend whose passion for his work, leadership, and commitment to others made a profound impact on everyone he met. His unexpected departure has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues, but his legacy of dedication, professionalism, and kindness will continue to resonate with all who knew him.
Sean was an integral part of the Mississippi River Distilling Company, where he helped elevate the company’s presence in the spirits industry. As Sales Director, Sean brought not only his business acumen but also his passion for the craft of distilling to the table.

Sean is survived by his wife, children, siblings, parents, as well as a large extended family of friends, colleagues, and community members who loved and admired him deeply.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held. The family invites all who knew him to join in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the incredible person he was. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sean’s honor.
Although Sean McQueen’s time with us was far too short, his impact on the people he worked with, the community he served, and the countless lives he touched will live on.
