Brittany Snow, the actress known for her roles in “Pitch Perfect” and other films, is speaking out about the challenges women face in Hollywood as they get older. She believes the entertainment industry often overlooks women over 30, especially when it comes to roles involving intimacy.
Snow, now 39, discussed this issue on the “Las Culturistas” podcast, highlighting her new series “The Hunting Wives” as a project that pushes back against these stereotypes. In the show, Snow plays a woman who moves to a small Texas town and becomes involved with a group of wealthy women, leading to obsession and betrayal.
Snow and her co-star, Malin Akerman, who is 47, worked to create a sense of female empowerment in their intimate scenes. Snow noted that they wanted to portray women who are strong and confident in their sexuality, regardless of their age. She praised Akerman for making her feel comfortable and respected during filming.
“The Hunting Wives” proved to be a hit for Netflix, and a second season is planned for release in the summer of 2026.
Snow is also currently involved in other projects, including the Hulu series “Murdaugh: Death in the Family” and Netflix’s “The Beast In Me.”
