The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified the body of a young female discovered near NC Highway 150 in Boger City on Sunday morning, November 10, 2024.
Authorities confirmed the victim as 18-year-old Sydney Bisson, a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. The investigation has now shifted to locating Gregory Clifford Houser, 34, of Bessemer City, who is wanted in connection with the case. Detectives have obtained a felony warrant for Houser on charges of Concealing and Failing to Report a Death.
Houser, who has pending charges across multiple counties, including Catawba, Mecklenburg, Lincoln, and Gaston, was previously under pre-trial electronic monitoring as mandated by Gaston County Court Services.
However, he is accused of tampering with his ankle monitor, leading to an additional charge of Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device. Authorities have not released specific details about Bisson’s death or Houser’s potential involvement, but their investigation remains active.
