    Trump Ends Hunger Report

The federal government is ending its yearly report on hunger in America, saying that the report has become too focused on politics and not enough on facts.

This decision comes after the government took steps to change food aid programs. Some believe these changes are needed to ensure resources are used wisely and go to those who truly need assistance.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said that the way the report gathers information is not accurate. They believe the questions used are too open to interpretation and don’t give a true picture of food security in the country. The USDA also pointed to lower poverty rates, rising wages, and job growth as signs that things are getting better under the current administration.

Recent data shows that the poverty rate has gone down, suggesting that the economy is improving and more people are able to provide for themselves.

Some critics argue that ending the report will make it harder to understand hunger and the effects of changes to food aid. They worry that the government is trying to hide information that would show a rise in hunger. However, supporters of the decision say it’s important to have accurate information and to focus on policies that help people become self-sufficient.
