President Trump Reports “Perfect” Health After Recent MRI

While traveling to Tokyo on Air Force One this week, President Donald Trump spoke with reporters about the results of a recent medical scan. He said the MRI results were “perfect.”

At 79, Trump is the oldest person to take office again as U.S. President.

Earlier this month, the President’s doctor shared that Trump is in “exceptional health” after a routine check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Navy Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, the President’s physician, confirmed that Trump “remains in exceptional health,” showing good heart, lung, brain, and physical performance.

Dr. Barbabella also noted that President Trump received his updated shots for COVID-19 and the flu to stay healthy while traveling overseas.

This recent check-up was the President’s second this year, with a similar report of “excellent health” from his doctor in April.

Back in July, the White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, mentioned that President Trump had been diagnosed with a common vein issue, chronic venous insufficiency, causing some mild swelling in his legs. She also noted some bruising on his hand was due to frequent handshakes and his use of aspirin for heart health.
