In the remote area of Agnos, Arkansas (Fulton County, Arkansas), law-enforcement officials discovered the bodies of two female victims on Oct. 21 at one of the women’s homes. Authorities say the deaths occurred sometime between Oct. 20 and Oct. 21, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Arkansas State Police (ASP), working alongside the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies, quickly issued a statewide “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) notice for Jacob Lowell J. Smith, 32, of Smithville. Smith is now considered a person of interest in the case and is also wanted on a separate statewide extradition warrant for absconding and violating probation and parole in Arkansas.

According to law-enforcement bulletins, Smith is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds, and bears a distinctive neck tattoo in the shape of a bow tie along with other visible facial tattoos.

Investigators believe the suspect fled the scene in a 2004 red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup bearing Arkansas license plate BEH-93R, which was reported stolen from the homicide scene. Two firearms were also taken: a Sears pump-action shotgun with a black-painted wooden stock, and a Charter Arms .38 Special revolver with serial number given by authorities.

The victims’ identities have not yet been made public. Their bodies were taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy, and law-enforcement officials say they will release more details once families have been officially notified.

Officials emphasize that Smith should be considered armed and extremely dangerous, citing his known violent tendencies and extensive criminal history dating back to 2017. Authorities are urging anyone who sees him or the stolen vehicle to contact 911 immediately—but to avoid direct engagement.

The investigation remains active. Deputies and state troopers are canvassing the area of Agnos and nearby regions; meanwhile, they await an official statement from Jake Smith, the Sheriff of Fulton County, regarding further developments.
